Penangite Touring Penang

It's so great being a Malaysian. If the Malaysia team wins the Thomas Cup, we get a day off work. We enjoy public holidays on Chinese, Malay and Indian new years. We get breaks on Christmas, Wesak day and the list goes on. Malaysia is truly a multi-racial country and I especially enjoy working in Malaysia because we get extra days off compared to other countries.

Penang was jam-packed with tourist on the past weekend. It was a long weekend because we get the Friday off to celebrate Wesak day. My grand uncle and his wife came to visit my grandmother and I played tourist guide to them.

I took them to Pinang Peranakan House. Have posted an entry about this place before but the owner is really a darling because every time you visit the place, he has new things to offer. Mich being Mich could not resist and photographed most of the new additions in the house. This place is highly recommended for tourist, you can snap as much photographs as you want and you can tour the mansion as many times as you want but you only pay once per entry. Lets check out the additions in the mansion :

I fell in love with the tiles on the floor :

Then we went for souvenier shopping before calling it a day. This shop only sell cookies....large scale cookies selling :
